Omni Visions - Omni Visions is a multi-state placement agency that specializes in providing services for adults and children. At Omni Visions, our focus is on the entire family, ensuring we provide each individual and each family a community support system that facilitates and inspires their growth and development. Omni Visions volunteers are required to model the company’s mission, vision and values.
Summary: Interns and Volunteers perform a variety of duties based on the needs of the program within the company. Interns and Volunteers promote community partnerships in the protection and support of our most vulnerable population. Interns and Volunteers are used to provide additional support to Omni staff in order to create resources that will continue to enrich the lives of adults and children beyond the categorical services delivered by Omni Visions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Advocate on behalf of individuals and families to advance rights and accessibility to resources and opportunities
Develop mutually agreed on goals and objectives with supervisors to clearly delineate roles and responsibilities
Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, practice and communication appropriate to the setting and client populations
Consistent use of consultation and supervision related to ethical, cultural, and practice issues and integrate feedback into practice
Follow Omni policies and procedures when performing duties
Attend pre-service and annual training as defined for the duties performed
Practice child abuse prevention-zero tolerance for abuse as outlined in agency policy, procedures and training
Qualifications: Interns and Volunteers are required to be 18 years of age; must pass all required background screenings; must pass drug screening
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance (if applicable to role), and reliable transportation.
