Junior Application Developer

Growing Scottsdale-based company is in search of a “rock star” Junior Application Developer who has the desire to advance to a Senior Development position. Loffa is a Cloud-based provider of automated workflows focusing within the financial services compliance, regulatory and operational environments. Our next team member must hold at least a bachelor's degree in computer science with excellent knowledge of computer programming languages or equivalent work experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the different computer languages that can be used in application development and possess the ability to develop custom products for our clients while offering excellent technical support. Required Professional Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in writing application code
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communications skills
  • Ability to work, both within a team and/or individually without supervision
  • Flexible and willing to accept changes in priorities as necessary
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet project and application benchmark deadlines

Required Technical Experience/Skills

  • Microsoft SQL
  • HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • WCF and Entity Framework
  • MSDN or other programming best practices
  • Common Development Architectures (Domain Driver, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Agile or SCRUM development methodologies

Preferred/Beneficial Technical Experience/Skills

  • NODE JS, Express and Angular or React.js
  • RESTful API
  • MongoDB
  • Azure, Docker, AWS
  • Working knowledge of Trello or Jira project tracking software
  • Experience managing/supervising development teams

Additional Duties & Technical Experience/Skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a team to debug, troubleshoot and maintain Loffa’s proprietary software application. The candidate will take part in proofreading of future code releases and other critical tasks related to continuous improvement and development methods.

Salary: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
