**Case Manager Job Description** **Overview** We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in legal services, particularly in family law, personal injury law, and workers compensation law. The Case Manager will be responsible for managing case files, conducting legal research, and providing administrative support to our attorneys. **Duties** - Utilize Westlaw to conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations. - Manage and maintain case files, including documents, notes, and deadlines. - Assist in preparing documents, pleadings, and other legal documents for court and administrative purposes. - Review and organize documents using document management systems. - Conduct document reviews to identify and extract relevant information. - Provide support with phone calls, responding to inquiries, and communicating with clients and other stakeholders. - Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills. - Collaborate with attorneys to identify and address case issues. - Perform tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry as needed. - Maintain accurate and timely records of case-related activities and expenses. - Participate in case meetings and provide administrative support as needed. **Skills** - Experience in family law, personal injury law, and workers compensation law. - Proficiency in Westlaw and document management systems. - Strong research and analytical skills. - Excellent writing and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Strong phone etiquette and communication skills. - Experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role. - Familiarity with the legal system and court procedures. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
