Full Job Description
Tephra Solar is a national solar sales organization with a presence in UT, IL, CA, NV, TX, FL, NC, SC, MD, ID, CO and MO. We are looking for the perfect candidate to jump-start and carry our direct sales program. This candidate must have a strong background in door to door solar sales. We move extremely quick and are constantly evolving our process, so we need someone who can keep up with constant development and change.
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of door to door leads and building a pipeline of top quality prospects independently as well. As a manager, the candidate will also be responsible for overseeing personnel in the company's direct door to door team. Moreover, the candidate will act as a strategic partner with an eye towards long term sales strategy.
Develop and implement sales strategy
Report sales metrics
Manage the sales process (D2D lead gen, closing)
Support and guidance to junior members
1-2+ years of solar sales experience with a proven track record
1-2+ years of Door to Door solar sales experience
Excellent communication skills
Able to learn and adapt quickly
