Full Job Description
Provides teaching consultations for faculty and graduate students as needed.
Oversees Tenure Academy.
Partners with other TLPDC staff members regarding New Faculty Orientation.
Represents the TLPDC on committees as appropriate.
Develops and oversees online pedagogy programming and resource development.
Develops and oversees programming for Professors of Practice.
Assists with TLDPC workshop organization and two conferences (Burns Conference and Advancing Teaching and Learning Conference)
Coordinates President's Excellence in Teaching display.
Supervises graduate student programmer and TLPDC facilities manager
Assists with center planning and special professional development-related activities.
Oversees TLPDC application software and registration software.
Supervises the TLPDC facilities manager, graduate student programmer, and other staff to be determined with possible departmental changes.
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
The attributes required to perform the job that are generally demonstrated through qualifying service, education, or training. Master's Degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. College-level teaching experience.
Oversees the TLPDC facilities manager, graduate student programmer, and may oversee others pending department reorganization. Coordinates new programs related to professional development initiatives for Professors of Practice and Online teaching pedagogy including collaborations with other departments. Helps to coordinate workshops, conferences, and center activities. Researches, develops and delivers research -based faculty and professional development topics. Participates in regional and national professional development organizations.

Minimum Hire Rate
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
