Monterey Consultants, Inc. is seeking dedicated LPNs/LVNs to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing care in Veterans Affairs Hospitals throughout the nation. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our nation's veterans, making a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer patient education and support in managing health conditions.
- Participate in patient-focused initiatives and quality improvement projects.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable healthcare environment for veterans.
- Comply with VA Hospital policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing
- Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia
- BLS certification.
- 1-2 years recent nursing experience
- Able to pass drug screen and background check
- Citizen of the United States
