Applus+ Technologies, a leader in the vehicle testing industry, is seeking full-time and part-time experienced Call Center Representatives to work in our Shrewsbury Office.

These positions provide telephone support for motorists seeking information about the Massachusetts Safety & Emissions Inspection Program.Key duties include:

  • Professionally responding to inquiries from motorists relating to program rules and requirements, procedures, test results, and station locations. This includes:
  • Entering each call received into ticketing system
  • Resolving issues, independently and effectively
  • Identifying when an escalation to management will result in best overall customer satisfaction for the motorist * Professionally interacting with inspection station personnel, primarily over the phone, with technical, procedural, and process questions and concerns pertaining to the emissions testing program.
  • Opening and dispatching service calls for equipment service issues that cannot be resolved over the telephone or live chat.
  • Generate part and supply orders for inspection stations when requested.

The candidates we seek will have:

  • 2 - 4 years’ work experience in a Customer Service or Call Center roles with specific experience successfully resolving conflict preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with co-workers, motorists, state agencies and inspection station representatives in a variety of situations, including stressful
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Competency with Microsoft Office programs, including basic data entry skills

Fluency in additional languages preferred a plus!!

Multiple schedules available which may include some Saturdays

Candidates must pass pre-employment drug test.
