Multi-skilled person needed to fill a Property Accountant position for a company specializing in homeowner association management. This is a part-time position that will become a full-time position once the candidate is fully trained. QuickBooks Desktop experience is a must, including A/R, A/P, budgeting and related reporting.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • - Accounts payable
  • - Accounts receivables – including Owner account reconciliation
  • - Deposits – Recording bank deposits by property which includes ACH deposits
  • - Soft Collections processing
  • - Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • - Assist in Budgeting process
  • - Reviewing general ledger and ensuring correct entries
  • - Month end reports
  • - Preparing accounts for end of year tax filing

The desired candidate should have:

  • - A degree in accounting or a related field experience
  • - QuickBooks Desktop experience is a must
  • - Highly proficient in Excel
  • - Strong understanding of accounting concepts
  • - Be extremely organized and able to multitask
  • - Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks
  • - Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • - Prior experience preparing financial statements and journal entries

The position works closely with clients, in house property maintenance coordinator and will take direction from the Owner. A successful Property Accountant ensures the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting to the client

Starting salary is dependent on experience.

This is not an entry level position. Only candidates with required experience will be considered

Job Type: Part-time to start, going to Full-time when completely trained
