Temperature Control / HVAC Technician (Levels I, II, III): As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and documenting HVAC and Temperature Control equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations. The ideal candidate will be a positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment who is reliable and committed to delivering quality performance. Ideal candidates will have experience with frequency drive motors and have experience servicing, testing and installing commercial refrigeration equipment. Industrial HVAC or Air Compressor experience is a plus. You must be available for an on-call schedule. Other responsibilities of the HVAC Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Work on solving temperature control problems utilizing AC units, air cooled / water cooled chillers, cooling towers, indirect fired heaters, hydronic heaters, and heat exchangers.
  • Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective KW requirements
  • Read, interpret and understand technical schematics
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with the safe operation of all equipment
  • Obtain and maintain the necessary certifications required to operate any equipment as needed
  • Prepare various reports as directed to maintain accurate records on equipment and preventive maintenance

Compensation: Varies depending on location, Level of Technician, your level of experience, how well you interview, etc. Target base compensation is ~$22/hr - $36/hr

With standard amounts of overtime (55 to 60 hrs/wk), you can realistically expect an annual W-2 of $65K - $75K as a Level I Tech, and much more for Level II. $100K income potential within just a few years is very realistic.
