Director of Operations (Food Hall)

A Chicago Restaurant Group is seeking a Director of Operations to join our leadership team for a food hall concept. The starting salary for this leadership role would be $100k-$120k based on experience.

Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for all things food and beverage. Has an ability to positively lead others while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. Must believe in quality by consistently upholding defined standards over time. Able to provide guidance and support for employees and is involved in the day to day operations of the Front of House collaborates and communicates with Back of House team to create genuine guest experiences.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in full service restaurants.
  • Multi-unit experience overseeing a minimum of 5 properties.
  • Experience with food halls, restaurant technology, or kiosk systems a plus
  • Open availability.
  • Flexible and willingness to adapt to ongoing changes.
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Proven track record in building high-performing teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Professional and confident verbal and written communication with guests, employees and ownership.

Salary: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 /year
