We currently are seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our team! This position is responsible for providing overall management, direction, completion and financial outcome of a construction project. SMR offers employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Requirements:
Education & Training:
OSHA 30 Hour
USACE Construction Quality Control Certificate is desired
Degree in Construction Management is a plus

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in ground up, renovations, additions, etc. as the Site Superintendent in charge of construction
Experience in Government projects of $2-7M (Ground up, Renovations, Additions)
Be computer literate
Good written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules
General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work

Responsibilities:
Supervise day to day operations and to oversee all phases of construction
Execute and oversee Safety Plans and safety compliance
Prepare daily reports: progress, quality control, safety, others
Inspect and approve of subcontractor work
Ability to resolve project and contract issues with clients and subcontractors
Manage the Project Close-out Process; Produce Warranty Management Plans, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, As-Built Packages, etc.
Work closely with Project Manager to ensure budgets are followed
