Position Summary: Responsible for warehouse operations, staff, operational performance, business reporting, and budget.
Manage the department's staffing needs including scheduling and making determinations about resource requirements
Ensure efficient operations and monitoring of Warehouse function including the storage and movement of stock and the accurate picking, packaging, and dispatch of goods that meet customer requirements
Collect, develop, and analyze data regarding inventory, documentation, and reports. Make recommendations about operational and staffing issues resulting from such reports.
Coordinate urgent AOG dispatches as and when required in alignment with company's AOG guidelines.
Adopt and implement management practices including regular communications with employees; establish and communicate KPI's, implement LEAN activities, enhance awareness and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and practices, and establish clear objectives, targets, and success criteria and ensure compliance.
Provide data and reports to manager on warehouse operations and accomplishments
Represent warehouse in interactions with other departments and managers and collaborate with other departments
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in development of new company products and services that involve the warehouse
Participate in key customer visits
Serve as member of project management team and implementation of new contracts
5 or more years of experience in warehouse supervision or in a leadership role
Demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability and willingness to work under pressure
Demonstrate service orientation
Ability to engage in dispute resolution and maintain positive relations
Demonstrate effective decision-making ability
An Associates' Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Fluency in written and verbal English is required, fluency in a 2nd language is highly desirable
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite as well as familiarity with internal systems preferably SAP and ERP systems
Experience and knowledge and the demonstrated ability to manage using LEAN principles
Demonstrated ability to read, understand and develop analytical and mathematical data and analysis
3-5 years of experience in a customer service/fulfillment functionpreferred
