PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Overhead Crane Electrician performs electrical installations, routine inspections, trouble shooting and repairs, both scheduled and unscheduled, to crane equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience as an Electrician in an industrial setting
Knowledge of both AC and DC power, with strong knowledge/experience in DC power preferred
Ability to work extended hours as required
Candidate must be willing to travel and work in production environments
Clear driving record and background check required as company vehicle operation is part of the job
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand/walk 95% of the work day
Lift up to 80 pounds
Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently
Carry up to 60 pounds
Ability to push/pull up to 150 pounds
Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)
Possess depth perception and peripheral vision
Possess the ability to hear

Subject to working frequently at considerable heights
