Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Treasury Department is looking for a passionate and
highly-motivated Treasury Rate Desk & Derivatives Manager.

The Treasury Rate Desk & Derivatives Manager is responsible for supporting
Treasury’s mandate to provide TFS continuous access to the lowest cost of
funds. This position contributes to that goal through the process of
effectively hedging all currency and interest rate risk. The team monitors
interest rate, currency, commodity, equity and fixed income markets and
provides the company with insights into the major drivers the cost of funds.

A successful candidate may possess an advanced degree such as an MS or MBA,
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate or charterholder, experience with a
derivatives trading or treasury management system (e.g., Bloomberg, WallStreet
Suite, Numerix), technical experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), and
visualization including but not limited to Tableau.

What you'll be doing
Rate and FX Derivative Program and Execution
Execute derivatives to
achieve targeted interest rate risk position, including the execution of any
hedges in connection with debt, ABS and loan instruments/securities
Provide insights for
interest rate risk management within the broader company funding objectives
Monitor interest rate,
currency, commodity, equity and fixed income markets and the global economy
generally to identify trends & develop a market view
Monitor and manage all
derivative counterparty credit risk
TFS business area needs related to market intelligence and insights
A go-to resource for any
needed market-related processes including market color, prepayment
calculations, new loan/product pricing, etc.
Managing TFS cross-functional
relationships including business partners, legal, accounting, operations, and
risk departments
Provide insight into the
cost of funds and liquidity for dealer lending activities
Provide write-ups and
presentations related to market developments for the various business areas, as
well as global TFS audience
What you bring

degree from an accredited university.
experience in capital markets, interest rate, and/or FX derivatives.
experience in a corporate treasury or investment banking environment.
proficiency with MS Excel.
leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
