Seeking a high-energy, experienced individual to oversee the entire operation of a multi-faceted performance arts center located in the highly walkable business district of West Chester, PA. Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten (10) years experience in similar venue, including performance arts center management, significant fundraising, and programming responsibilities and the ability to engage and excite volunteers. Must possess the enthusiasm, team mentality, and personal skills to perpetuate the collegial atmosphere of the center among staff, volunteers, and customers. Previous experience in Board development and coordination of third-party contractors is important. Expectations of this individual include building collaborations with arts and other organizations, business (and budget) growth, and expansion of the audience base by determining target markets and improving marketing to those segments. The well-maintained facility has recently undergone complete renovation; and the organization, which has a $1 million+ budget, is ready to move to the next level. This opportunity is available due to the retirement of the current Executive Director.
