The Marketing Events Coordinator will assist in the development of effective event marketing strategies that support WellSky's sales activities resulting in trackable lead generation and closed deals. The Marketing Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the marketing & sales teams and the Events Director with event logistics, overseeing tradeshow strategy, budget reconciliation, management of associate memberships, and communication with vendors.
The Marketing Events Coordinator will be responsible for overall implementation of event marketing including, but not limited to, support for existing events on the tradeshow calendar, evaluation and measurement of marketing efforts, and communication with vendors and staff. In addition, the coordinator may be expected to travel as much as 40% of the time to represent the company at tradeshows and events around the country.
Ongoing responsibilities may include:
management of ongoing tradeshow calendar; assisting with event shipping needs; representing WellSky at post-acute tradeshows; coordinating on-site logistics; communicating with the sales department, and ensuring effective follow-up on leads from events.
The Marketing Events Coordinator must have the ability to multi-task, have knowledge of underlying marketing principles, effective writing, presentation, and social skills. In addition, the coordinator must be extremely organized, highly detail-oriented, understand the event industry, and have the ability to maintain composure and performance in an extremely high-stress, fast-paced environment. At least five years of event planning or tradeshow specific experience is required. Strong Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint experience preferred. Some SalesForce experience is preferred.
