Under the direction of the Interim Program Director and Campus President, the Lead Faculty will direct the Business instructional team and overall program development. The Lead Faculty will inspire our faculty to work together to unleash human potential through strategically different online learning. At Bryan University, we are continuously driven to challenge the traditional boundaries of education and liberate the innate greatness in people.

This position will teach roughly 50% of the time and the remaining 50% will be devoted to managing the program’s daily operations ensuring faculty are recruited, trained and capably teach the program curriculum. They will be responsible for ongoing development of the Business program, including oversight of faculty. The Lead Faculty will frequently collaborate with Program Directors, Instructional Design team, Student Outreach teams, and Career Services team. The Lead Faculty will be a resource for instructors to assist in motivating students to excel while ensuring that student’s individual learning needs are met.

Student Success:
Students obtain the practical, productive skills needed to be immediately productive throughout their time at Bryan University and in the work place.
Student outreach and active course management strategies are commonly worked on to improve the student experience, and improve the academic standing of students who fall within the Academic Review Boards (Academic Advisement) of the catalog.
Student retention is successfully managed and students’ learning needs are met. This includes an active goal of increasing submission and participation rates while decreasing attrition.
Strategic retention plans are developed and deployed to meet graduation goals and successfully place students in a position related to their field of study.

Faculty and Staff:
Employee excellence achieved through inspiring others with professionalism, effort and results-centered trust.
Adjunct instructors are effectively coached and supported in their instructional and program needs.
New instructors are effectively recruited, supervised, coached, and mentored.
Classes within program area are periodically observed and intructors receive relevant coaching to continually improve instructional delivery and student outcomes.

Administrative:
Coordinate and facilitate regular collaborative meetings with Faculty.
Be current, understand and know the S.O.P for faculty.
Students’ academic and attendance records are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
Students’ grades are submitted in a timely manner according to school policy.
Attend faculty meetings and in-service programs.
Maintain current personal knowledge of federal, state, institutional regulations, and accreditation standards related to program area.
Maintain regular office hours each week to ensure consistency between online, day, and evening policies, procedures and instruction.

Organizational:
Interdepartmental activities are effectively coordinated through collaboration with peers and associates.
Appropriate confidentiality is maintained when working with students, records, and administrative staff.
Bryan is rated by students, business, education, associations and agencies as the best in class.
All federal, state, accreditation, and institutional regulations, policy and procedures are met.
Other General Duties

Teach at least two classes per semester, as time allows.
Prepare and implement activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences
Actively engage in individual, or small group, tutoring and remediation using synchronous and asynchronous tools
Create and curate instructional content, including video, for students related to current trends and practices in the industry
Integrate established, and emerging, teaching and learning strategies into the classroom and student interactions
Maintain current knowledge of developments within their program area and regularly participate in educational activities for professional growth.
Conduct proactive and reactive student outreach regularly and coordinate one-on-one tutoring/coaching for at-risk students as needed.

Required Skills
Physical Demands/Work Environment

Ability to work in a virtual environment using software technology including but not limited to virtual meeting tools, such as Zoom, Instant Messaging, Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), and video creation software
The ability to operate a computer and its peripheral equipment (printers, keyboard, mouse, etc.)
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week on campus in Tempe, AZ. *Relocation assistance will NOT be provided*

Required Experience
Minimum Qualifications

Five+ years operational leadership experience with demonstrated experience in Marketing, Accounting, and Business Management
Three+ years teaching experience, preferred
MBA or relevant graduate degree required
Meet requirements of Instructor and capable of teaching a majority of the courses within the program area
Knowledge and understanding of the professional career paths and demands of the training field
Ability to inspire students to the highest level of achievement in preparation for meeting employer expectations
Ability to organize, problem solve, handle multiple tasks, and function as a team member within established school, state, federal, and accrediting agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
Proficiency in Learning Management System and online instructional platform
