As the Hotel Assistant General Manager you will ensure guest satisfaction and the efficient operations of the hotel by supervising operating departments in the absence of the General Manager.

Your day-to-day operations will consist but not limited of:

  • Establish performance and developmental goals for team members and providing mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance
  • Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand and service standards
  • Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Will also serve as manager on duty
  • Supervision of all front desk functions
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing and selection of applicants for all departments

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of previous hotel management experience with an IHG property
  • Opera Experience a most
  • Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
  • The ability to solve complex problems and resolve conflicts smoothly and efficiently
