The employee shall support the P3B Budget Execution Branch in data research and collection utilizing the SAP financial system, as well as, external reports. This includes the monitoring and tracking of accounts and balances, and tracking of spend down progress on a monthly basis. The employee shall also provide technical assistance and guidance to FM&E Program Offices on
FM&E and CBP policy regarding financial management and data analysis. The employee shall review and analyze data provided to FM&E P3B by the Program Offices for quality assurance. The employee shall produce financial reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst shall assist Government stakeholders with drafting,
editing, and/or reviewing documents on financial and budget processes, policy, procedures, and training; develop and implement process improvements and accountability metrics; and coordinate meetings with stakeholders on financial management topics and coordinate financial
management training as needed.
Senior Financial Analyst should have a minimum of five (5) years of
experience as described above.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both oral (in common English
narration) and written (to include technical documentation) formats.
Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines,
work independently, and work in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form working relationships.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 or later with particular emphasis on
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project, and other applicable
database and office automation products.
Knowledge and experience with SharePoint and SAP are desirable.
