Position Summary: The Executive Director has overall responsibilities for seeing that the non-profit organization is managed effectively to achieve its mission. The Executive Director is involved with balancing organizational, administrative, fundraising, grant writing, budget management, donor development, marketing, contract developments, and public relations activities so that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and all projects remain within budget. The Executive Director works to develop and carry out all the objectives of the organization and develops a vision for the future.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or a closely related field. Prefer candidates who have executive level experience in managing a non-profit organization.
Special Requirements: Valid Alabama Driver's License and good driving record. Willingness to travel frequently, willingness to work non-standard hours or weekends.
