REQUIRED AVAILABILITY: Full-time (40h/week)

JOB DURATION: Up to 9 months, with a high possibility of extension

START DATE: March 2019

Role Summary

Lionbridge is looking for US English Graders to work on a machine learning project located onsite in Santa Clara, California! As a Grader, your primary responsibility is to focus on the international aspects of a digital personal assistant, and you will work to improve the assistant's ability to accurately understand and answer user speech. Additionally, you will interact with an international testing team and project managers in order to help reproduce issues and test features.

Project Related Tasks (may include, but are not limited to)
Analyzing language data (mainly in written form).
Working with audio outputs/ transcribed data.
Data labelling and time stamping.
Categorization based on different customer-provided conventions, may be required.

Minimum Requirements
Advanced fluency in en_US (including understanding of accents, dialects, slang, etc.).
Must have resided continuously in the U.S. for the past 5 years.
Excellent spelling and grammatical skills in US English.
Aptitude for language analysis.
Cultural knowledge of the United States (e.g. cultural, historical, geographical, landmarks, etc.).
Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities, quickly and efficiently.
Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to track, analyze, and report issues.
Good oral and written communication.
Ability to understand and prioritize tasks & issues.

Preferred Requirements
Understanding of iOS.
Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
BA or BS degree preferred.
Possess a genuine interest in tech (e.g. current with tech news).
