Description & Requirements
The Kraft Heinz Information Technology organization is hiring a Lead Data Engineer who will be responsible of lead the Data Ops development practices and has ultimate accountability for any code moved to production as part of the CI/CD DataOps pipelines.
Identifies new data collection methods in organization
Leads rollout of data governance & security systems
Supports creation and adoption of data assets for the organization
Works with senior executives to address common pitfalls
Acts as a data owner and functional data SME for the assigned area
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science- Statistics- Business- Information Technology- or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum 7 years of experience in role delivering and supporting analytical capabilities.
Project management experience and strong communication skills
Self-Starter- driven with high business process acumen
Team Player with a positive attitude and ability to work across different business stakeholder and technical teams to accomplish complex tasks
7+ years of working building enterprise data warehouses
Proven ability to develop and deploy frameworks that can be leveraged across the data practice using services provided by major cloud platforms.
Proven experience creating data assets used in mission critical applications
Proven experience using DevOps practices in the data space.
Expert in Agile methodologies (certifications preferred)
Fluent in the use of DevOps tools and ARM or Terraform templates
Experience in leading and managing cross functional teams.
Expert at developing analytical talent and managing remote teams (internal and external)
Expert in the application of clod technologies into a DataOps practice
Strong leader- collaborator- team player- and individual contributor
Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders
Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
