The ideal sales associate candidates will be customer service minded individuals. Previous retail/cashiering experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to work weekend shifts and some evening shifts. We go above and beyond to provide flexible schedules to accommodate those that need it. Knowledge of children’s clothing, toys and baby equipment is desirable. Must be proficient in computer and register skills. Associates will tag, label, and hang inventory. Properly handles money, cash drawers and store supplies. Maintains and stocks merchandise to the floor, putting them in the proper place. Keeps the store products organized by style, size and color. On a daily basis, vacuums the store, dusts counters and computers, removes trash, and ensures that the break area, bathrooms and sales floor are safe and clean. Must be able to stand for 6-10 hours and lift up to 40 lbs., bend, reach and climb a ladder.
Training starts at $9.25 hr. and once training is complete the average hourly rate is $10.50-$11/hr. Higher for those that show leadership potential.
