The overall responsibility of a Fantastic Sams Regional Educator is to build and maintain a solid professional relationship with salon owners, managers and stylists. This position is responsible for delivering exciting and motivating technical, guest experience and management training that ensures all salon staff can deliver the brand promise with each and every guest. In addition, this position requires excellent product knowledge, and the sales ability to train stylist how to sell retail products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build positive business relationships with stylists, managers and owners.
  • Provide support to the Franchisees to insure consistency in operations, guest experience, and the overall branding of the Fantastic Sams business.
  • Coordinate and teach the latest technical trends in cuts and color to small and large groups, such as team members, stylists and managers in regional training center or salons. Coordinate brand launches and product training.
  • Establish visitation schedule at salons throughout the region.
  • Conduct Beauty School presentations for brand awareness.
  • Demonstrate basic business acumen with basic financial skills such as P & L, analyzing business metrics, and use of competitive data for assigned franchisee locations to identify opportunities to drive profitability.
  • Stay current technically, by participating in advanced industry trainings and self-education about worldwide beauty trends.
  • Establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with team members throughout the organization.
  • Attend corporate sponsored training programs and apply material in the salons.
  • Learn various operational systems such as learning management systems (LMS), POS Systems, and expense management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5+ years in a field operations-oriented leadership role within the hair salon industry or comparable multi-unit retail industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 35 to 50% of the time
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Cosmetology License
  • Instructor License a plus
  • Dependable vehicle
