Human Resources Generalist

Our best-in-class Talent Management team is looking for a skilled HR professional to help achieve this mission within our newly launched Employee Resource Center, a centralized Employee Support Center providing Talent Management support to all Wayfair Associates.

What You'll Do
Advise and consult employees in the resolution Talent Management tasks by partnering with employees, administering policies, and recommending effective solutions for addressing workplace issues.
Assist employees with benefits programs and general policy guidance
Manage and track FMLA, Short-term disability, ADA, and other leaves of absence, including decisions on eligibility.
Conduct investigations, provide accurate and timely responses to concerns and determine expedient solutions to ensure fairness and legal compliance.
Assist with onboarding and off-boarding processes, and provide regular insights to the business to aid in retention and employee satisfaction.
Analyze data to identify trends, provide insights and make recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional partners to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Act as a subject matter expert to provide coaching to management on addressing a variety of people issues while effectively mitigating business and company risk.
Data entry and maintenance of the employee database using various HRIS systems.
Work closely with Workforce Management (WFM) and payroll on issues of attendance, employee scheduling, leaves of absence, etc.
What You'll Need
3+ years experience in a dedicated HR generalist role
Multi-state leaves of absence and accommodations administration experience
Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve, be creative and answer questions
Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or related field, preferred
PHR or SPHR preferred
