We're a busy service provider and we service, repair and replace or upgrade a variety of residential and commercial plumbing and hot water heat systems throughout the Denver metro and Foothills areas.
BASIC FUNCTION AND PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
An Apprentice Installation Technician s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Installing Projects and Identifying and correcting problems in the areas of Plumbing and Piping Systems.
Repairs and installation that meets or exceed current codes.
Communicating with customers, foreman, General Contractor and/or owners to ensure that jobs and tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner and to the customer s satisfaction.
Apprentices are required to understand and abide by company policies.
Apprentices must take a proactive stance on Safety and report any concerns or violations immediately to the General Manager or Safety Manager.
Ensure that instructions and information are related in a constructive and diplomatic manner and that all safety information, warnings and signs are understood and communicated to reporting personnel.
Minimum qualifications include, and are not limited to, the following:
Must show a dedication to a career based on the areas of installation and repair of plumbing and piping systems, boilers, etc and remain focused on developing these skills towards certification as a Journeyman.
High School diploma or GED certificate or evidence of equivalent experience in a construction-oriented business.
May substitute equivalent experience on a year-to-year basis for educational requirements.
Must have strong paperwork skills and have the ability to fill out all business-related information such as timecards, service work order invoices, etc.
Must understand English in a competent manner in order to clearly communicate to those they report to and to clients, other tradesmen and General Contractors.
Must have a valid drivers license and an acce[table MVR record.
Must work with managers and supervisors to develope a plan for owning the basic selection of hand tools and a torch, while most larger power tools are provided by the company. Tool purchase assistance is available.
