Azure has an opening for a Business Administrator to provide team support to our growing engineering team. We are seeking a candidate who is interested in a fast paced, ever challenging, and fun work environment. Qualified candidates will have excellent organizational and time management skills. To succeed in this role, you must be able to multi-task, proactively anticipate the needs of the team, be able to quickly prioritize your work on a daily basis and make adjustments as needed, with little direction.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support for one to two leaders, providing team support, and working with business administrators across Microsoft. This position offers a variety of primary administrative functions. If you have experience building effective working relationships and accommodating diverse work styles and perspectives, this opportunity may be for you. The successful candidate will be able to take feedback and adapt to constantly changing environments.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: support of two or more calendars, coordinating travel, preparing and submitting expense reports, participation in morale event planning, catering ordering and setup; new hire onboarding, procuring of equipment and supplies, asset management, space management, organization chart updates, maintaining group aliases, vendor management, and special projects. This person will work closely with the other Business Administrators within the org and will develop strong working relationships as part of the admin team. This position requires initiative, good judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Candidates must be extremely resourceful and able to deal with ambiguity. They must possess solid problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, be able to work effectively under pressure. They must work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside the group, and accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals.
3+ years of experience supporting multiple managers plus teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems required; proficiency on internal MS tools (Headtrax, MS Space, MyOrder, MSS, iCIMS, Employee Central, etc.) preferred.
Great curiosity and willingness to question.
High enthusiasm, integrity, results-orientated, self-motivated, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced competitive environment.
Working knowledge of internal Microsoft tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) required.
Ability to act with professional presence and diplomacy which is critical for interaction with all levels of Microsoft employees, executives’ cross group, as well as external partners.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
