Job Summary:
The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for executing daily testing and analysis of vaping products, components, and materials. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining lab equipment, conducting tests, and compiling results to support product development and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Testing Operations:
- Perform routine testing on CCELL products, including vape cartridges, batteries, and other components, to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Utilize lab equipment, such as airflow testers, battery analyzers, and other diagnostic tools, to measure and record data accurately.
- Analyze the results and troubleshoot any issues with product performance.
2. Lab Equipment Management:
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment regularly to ensure accurate and consistent test results.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and assist with minor repairs or troubleshooting when necessary.
3. Data Collection & Reporting:
- Accurately record testing data, observations, and results in lab management software.
- Prepare reports and summaries of testing outcomes for the product development team.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab notebook and electronic files for compliance and audits.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols to ensure consistency in testing.
- Support quality control initiatives by identifying areas for improvement in the testing process.
5. Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials as per regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 1+ years of experience working in a laboratory or testing environment, preferably in the vaping or consumer electronics industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as airflow testers, multimeters, and temperature controllers.
- Experience with data collection and analysis software.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., vaping, consumer electronics).
- Basic knowledge of vaping technology and components, including ceramic heating elements and lithium batteries.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
