The Meats Equity & Platform Development Senior Associate Brand Manager will focus on developing and driving a consumer-first strategic growth plan for the next 1-3 year outlook, and driving a truly integrated marketing approach across one of the companies most critical Masterbrands. Categories covered include hot dogs, cold cuts, bacon, convenient breakfast solutions, and pickles. The primary brand this role will focus on is Oscar Mayer, with specific focus on the development and application of a Masterbrand communication strategy, with a lighter touch on brands such as Just Crack an Egg and Claussen. The SABM will manage specific strategic and innovation projects including our approach to ESG/Animal Welfare, Product Quality Improvement Roadmap, Plant Based defense strategy, and total cross-category consumer learning plan (in partnership with Consumer Insights). From a brand communications perspective, this role will focus on driving an integrated marketing strategy across all spokes of our marketing wheel, with a focus on social media, experiential marketing / brand activations, and driving consistent application of our brand foundations across categories. This position requires someone who is a strong strategic and analytical thinker, has a passion for deep consumer understanding, and demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills.
Develop a deep understanding of the consumer and leverage consumer insights to drive 1-3 year Masterbrand growth strategy (innovation, renovation and communication strategy), with specific focus on leading ESG strategy and roadmap, product quality strategic roadmap and plant based defense strategy.
Lead the brief writing and briefing process of a 360 integrated experiential marketing strategy, to a multi-agency network (creative, social/digital, and PR agencies respectively)
Collaborate with CIS on driving a consumer-obsessed marketing and multi-functional organization – including the development and application of a of a cross-category learning plan
Collaborate with category marketing, central marketing, consumer insights, sales, finance, and agency partners
Skills and experience that will contribute to success in the position include:

Superior planning and organization skills
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred (Marketing emphasis is ideal)
5 to 7 years experience
Marketing passion - enthusiasm for consumer marketing, culture, new product ideas and trends
Demonstrated leadership skills - ability to inspire teams by forging strong relationships and commanding the respect/trust of others
Strong communication & simplification skills – ability to synthesize data/insights in order to tell and sell a strong story
Excellent Execution- propensity to move with speed/agility, fueled by an ownership mindset and strong time management skills
