Starting wage $12+/hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Responsibilities

Answer phones of a national call center in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate individual. Monitor voice mail and return calls/take messages for relevant staff.
Retrieve and process incoming mail, including receipting of dues and fees.
Maintain membership records and organize chapter files.
Keep inventory of office supplies, shipping supplies, and chapter supplies.
Oversee online member registration system: provide technical support to chapters/members, manage national queues for invitation emails, prepare and process membership certificates, and keep chapter data current.
Coordinate and handle all outgoing mail: merge, proof, and send mailings from national office staff and Executive Director. Prepare postage for all mail via USPS and FedEx.
Oversee online portal for national scholarship competition.
Provide administrative assistance to Executive Director and Director of Operations.
Data entry as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills

Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and dedication to completing work in a timely manner.
Self-starter, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Downtown office with parking included
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with 1-hour lunch break
Starting wage $12+/hour (commensurate with experience)
TIAA retirement plan with eligibility after 12 consecutive months of service (5% employer match)
