Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant supports the efficient operation of the Company’s Finance Department and will be responsible for accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close accounting.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter, review, code, and approve vendor invoices and employee expense reports to account payable.
Retrieve vendor information when necessary – W-9, contact info
Research and resolve accounts payable issues
Reconcile payables to vendor statements and sub-ledger in QB
Post and reconcile credit card transactions and statements
Process and record customer payments; apply payments to outstanding invoices
Prepare bank deposits
Create financial reports as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications

If you have completed an internship within the last year at an accounting firm or in an accounting department , we’d like to hear from you
BS in Accounting or Finance
Experience with general accounting, intercompany accounting, and A/P
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Accurate and thorough; proficient at monitoring work to ensure high quality
Methodical, detail-oriented, highly analytical
Able to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks
Work cooperatively and jointly with other departments
Team player and personal initiative are highly valued
Strong communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
