The Associate Medical Directors of the Hospitalist Program represent the medical leadership for the Hospitalist Program and its staff and patients. The performance of the Associate Directors set the stage and example for all aspects of the delivery of inpatient medical services for the group. An Associate Hospitalist Director at each campus will be responsible for overall operational aspects of the hospitalist program to maximize quality of care, utilization of resources and efficient delivery of care. The primary duty of the Associate Director is to assist the Hospitalist Director in the oversight of the Hospitalist Program. This will include expansion and further development of the Hospitalist program. They will be committed to building an effective, high quality efficient Hospitalist program. The Associate Medical Directors will function as the inpatient stroke director for the health system. The Associate Medical Directors will participate in hospital committees that are essential to inpatient care. They will work constructively with all designated physicians, leadership, and other health professionals to accomplish hospital performance and quality goals. The Associate Directors will participate in weekly meetings with the Hospitalist Director and Hospitalist Manager.

Requires State licensing and medical staff credentialing. Successful completion of Acts 153 clearance within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable. Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Proven skills in quality assurance reviews, project management and leadership.
