Job Description: The New York Jets are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing to manage the team’s collective efforts in marketing, promotions, and advertising. The Senior Manager’s focus will be driving Season, Group, and Single-Game ticket sales. This position will be responsible for the ongoing implementation of advertising for all paid, trade, and promotional platforms, along with the creation of new opportunities within the New York DMA. In conjunction with the Senior Director of Marketing, this individual will set the yearly strategy to optimize all ticket-related advertising and promotion. This position will also be involved in other team marketing priorities, including driving fan growth in key target market segments, email communications, fan surveys, and the overall direction of the Gen Jets Kids Club. The successful candidate will be extremely well-organized and have a background successfully driving ticket sales for a sports or entertainment property, either directly or via an agency role. Job Responsibilities:

In conjunction with Senior Director of Marketing, set yearly advertising strategy based on qualified insights, industry trends, and innovative opportunities with an overall focus on driving Season, Group, and Individual Game ticket sales

Manage media placements for the New York Jets and manage cross-channel insights to maximize return on advertising spend

Oversee New York Jets barter strategy, trading internal assets (e.g., game tickets, suites) for media inventory

Manage and leverage all third-party advertising opportunities and relationships, including NFL MetLife Stadium, ESPN Radio, CBS, and SNY

Implement and manage robust tracking and reporting system for all advertising and promotion

Work closely with New York Jets Ticket Sales & Service department to manage campaigns to drive ticket sales

Serve as point person for all fan engagement promotional campaigns including Jets House, Jets Draft Party, Taste of the Jets, Jets Movie Night, Training Camp, and Flight Crew Cheerleader Auditions

Partner with Senior Manager of Graphic Design to ensure all campaign creative is compelling, accurate, consistent and compliant with the New York Jets Brand Guidelines

Copy write all marketing communications including emails, advertising, website, and other key pieces of collateral

Lead fan research initiatives including survey design, analysis of responses, and reporting for all postgame research

Conduct general marketing analysis for new business initiatives throughout the organization

Oversee all elements of the Gen Jets Kids Club membership program including communication to members, events, promotions and management of membership as well as respond to emails from members and their guardians

Work closely with Corporate Sponsorship department executing partner promotions such as sweepstakes and contests, along with promotion of Sponsor events

Assist in gameday and event operational responsibilities as required

Maintain invoice tracking and budgets to ensure proper payment and recording of spending for marketing-related expenses

Qualifications:
Four (4) to (6) Years in a Marketing, Advertising, or Promotional role with a sports or entertainment property (directly or via an agency role)

Experience managing digital and traditional media with a track record of success

Complete understanding of the digital media landscape with the ability to leverage existing and learned knowledge and relationships

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar from four-year college

Strong verbal and written communication skills; examples of written materials will be requested

Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time with solid attention to detail

Work all Jets home games and events as required; plus some additional weekends and/or evenings
