The Manager Product Development Solutions is responsible for contributing to the development, enhancement, and ongoing oversight of all new product development for payers, pharmaceutical partners and customers. This position has leadership responsibility for the implementation of current and future programs and processes driving and supporting the Company’s overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in the evaluation and implementation of existing and new products and execute appropriate process improvements
Support and align with key performance indicators, new business opportunities, contracting strategies, sales
strategies, client presentations, and up-sell opportunities both departmentally and cross-functionally; This role will also be a key leader in the coordination and delivery of creative solutions to complex customer challenges and will work collaboratively with leadership and shared services partners to execute products that keep the company competitive in the industry
Manage the new product execution and delivery process
Partner with brand, marketing and communications teams to develop and execute aligned products with strategic plans
Establish, monitor and hold accountable to stakeholder alignment, revenue, profit, cost-to-fill and team engagement goals
Monitor the competitive environment for partnership opportunities at the channel level and best practices
Support partner goals and alignment to deliver full value across the environment
Work collaboratively with sales and account management teams to integrate new products and programs into the client management process
Collaborate both internally and externally to assist with the execution, launch, refinement, measurement and management of the company’s value proposition to external customers (payers, pharma, etc.)
Participate in client interactions, networking and professional seminars to keep current on critical client issues and trends; work collaboratively with the product development team to assimilate ideas into new products and services
Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of departmental budget
Responsible for leading a team through teaching, coaching and inspiring by fostering a sense of energy,
ownership and a responsibility for the flawless execution of operational excellence; engage in the selection and hiring process as needed

Required qualifications, skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
5 years’ work experience in the pharmaceutical, pbm, health plan and/or specialty pharmacy
1 year of leadership/people management experience

Additional Qualifications:
Proven experience developing strategic initiatives that align with business goals and budget; experience with financial modeling and return-on-investment analysis
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
Significant experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences
Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet departmental goals within budget and established timelines
Must be innovative, proactive and have strong analytical skills with excellent overall business acumen
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for business purposes
