A member of Flynn Restaurants Group Enterprise Systems organization, as the SAP Payroll Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of SAP HCM Payroll for 50,000 employees. This includes processing time punch data from multiple sources and associated time evaluation.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, SAP CEO, you will provide critical subject matter expertise, technical acumen and critical thinking in the practice of delivering value to the Human Resources and Operations organizations at FRG.
Contribute to the analysis, configuration, break/fix resolutions and operations of SAP Payroll and Time Evaluation
Support the creation and operation of HR data integrations to and from a variety of POS systems across four restaurant brands
Responsible for all HCM-related system changes regardless of requesting source (business partners, HCM IT team, vendor, regulatory)
Contribute to the end-to-end management of Payroll IT systems from demand through requirements documentation, solution generation, build, test, delivery and operation
Partner with Human Resources. Finance and Operations users to execute company strategy around strategic HR information systems
Maintain proper change management documentation
Create functional designs to be developed by SAP developers and validate results
Support business acquisitions including implementation in SAP
Partner with Human Resources and Operations users in the identification and resolution of data issues, including integrations between SAP and other systems
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred with 5+ years SAP Payroll experience required
Demonstrated understanding of Payroll business functions, processes, and strategies linked to business goals
Hands-on professional experience configuring SAP products for the following subareas: Payroll and Time Evaluation. Bonus for experience with Organization Management, Personnel Management and HR Reporting.
Functional experience with Payroll considerations such as garnishments, third-party remittance, off-cycle payroll configuration, and process models
Required knowledge on Payroll Schema and Rules
Experience with BSI Tax Factory and tax calculation processes
Experience working with business partners to drive understanding the purpose and importance of requirements, functional specifications, testing, change control and operational efficiency
Experience executing complex test plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels of management
Experience working with on-site and remote resources
SAP certifications strongly preferred but not required
