Perform routine duties including loading and unloading of materials, transporting materials to proper locations, staging and verifying materials and quantities, and shipping materials, parts, supplies and/or equipment to support manufacturing operations. Enter inventory record information into SAP to maintain inventory accuracy.
SUMMARY:
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Operate material handling equipment such as fork trucks, cranes and pallet jacks.
- Perform materials transactions (issues, receipts, stock moves) in SAP.
- Perform the shipping function in the business system as part of the invoicing process.
- Check, count, and verify supplier deliveries against supplier packing lists.
- Load & Unload Trailers or rail cars.
- Safely rig and move loads with overhead crane.
- Move and deliver materials throughout work area.
- Perform audits and cycle counts. Assist in inventory records.
- Maintain inventory and location accuracy.
- Pick and move materials per schedule.
- Remove trash, scrap and waste materials as required.
- Remove packaging materials and prepare materials for manufacturing.
- Perform pre-assembly tasks ahead of manufacturing per standard work.
- Fabricate and assemble wooden packaging materials such as skids and crates.
- Fabricate wooden fixtures and jigs from drawings and specifications.
- Package components for shipment and load material for shipment.
- Ensure quality inspections and holds are respected and supported.
- Stage and return NCR material to warehouse as required.
- Review shipping papers and bills of lading for correctness.
- Coordinate and direct truck drivers in preparation for loading or unloading.
- Assist in inventory record audits.
- Follow the Company’s procedures to record all transactions on paper or in the Business System.
- Assist other areas as needed.
- Support and assist the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor as needed.
- Understand and work under the direction of the appropriate Hyosung HICO policy and/or procedure.
- Know Hyosung HICO’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

- Perform basic preventative maintenance and TPM on equipment/machines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- High School Diploma or GED plus four years warehousing and inventory control, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience using SAP or other business system / inventory management system including keying transactions or barcode scanner transactions.
- Knowledge of safety/operations procedures required to safely operate machinery and equipment (e.g., fork truck, crane).
- Developed math skills.
- Must be detailed oriented and conscientious
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge and experience using various power and hand tools.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize different tasks and workload.
- Must have good eye-hand coordination, arm hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS OF THE WORKPLACE:
- Ability to work at elevated heights and climb stairs.
- Ability to work in normal indoor temperatures.
- Ability to stand and walk minimum 6-8 hours per day.
