Purpose of Job

The purpose of this job is to execute and manage the continuous maintenance and enhancement of our digital communications channels, including our website, social media channels, and email marketing program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Coordinate email marketing program, both automated and one-time send programs.

Work closely with internal and external cross functional teams to create and deliver compelling email communications and marketing campaigns for Georgia Lottery audiences to drive players to website.

Manage email marketing database.
Coordinate and execute the content necessary for Georgia Lottery core email communications; jackpot alerts, offers and promotions, eCoupons and daily winning numbers.

Contribute and execute strategies, tactics and creative digital/social ideas to organizational projects.

Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, draft and content to Players Club members with a focus on creative messages that deliver high response rates and translate into web traffic or applicable conversion.

Collaborate with other internal departments, including the marketing department, to develop and maintain a process workflow that ensures consistent execution and delivery of social media marketing and communication campaigns across channels.

Oversee development and delivery of online communications with a goal of continually improving customer brand interaction.

Stay abreast of industry trends and leaders in the interactive and digital communications space. Make recommendations for adjustments to our programs accordingly.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related area; a minimum of two years experience in marketing and/or communications; experience in media and web technology, excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask, project manage and prioritize by project basis; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
