The owner/operator of Trolley Car Diner, Trolley Car Café, Trolley Car Station, Trolley Car Table Tennis Club, Philly Office Retail and Jumpstart Germantown is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant/Marketing Manager. Successful applicant must be an aggressive self-starter, and able to multi task, be resourceful and remain organized. Located in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, the office is fast paced, mission driven and drama free. We are dedicated to providing our employees with a healthy work-life balance.
- Overseeing and promoting events
- Managing social media accounts
- Emailing promotional materials and solicitations via Constant Contact
- Coordinating graphic design and printing for menus, advertisements and signage
- Writing press releases and garnering media coverage for events and community initiatives
- Organizing community projects
- Coordinating donations and advertisements
- Managing and updating websites
- Assisting Owner with special fundraising and personal projects
- Attending Trolley Car Restaurants’ Manager Meetings, keeping managers and staff informed of events/promotions, and ordering merchandise and other supplies
Office manager functions such as:
- Ordering office supplies
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining data bases
- Meeting and greeting visitors to office
- Receiving and recording rent payments
- Maintaining tidy appearance of the office
- Opening and organizing office mail
Tech-savvy candidates and an understanding of social media and Wordpress preferred. Knowledge of the restaurant industry preferred but not required. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and excellent organizational and communication skills a must.
