PT Accounting Clerk/Book Keeper

Bookkeeper Essential Functions:
Review, Receive and Process accounts payable utilizing QuickBooks
Maintain an accurate filing system for vendors and resident files
Prepare various financial reconciliations monthly and quarterly
Compile and prepare various reports monthly and quarterly
Prepare weekly deposits
Assist Finance Director with preparation for yearly financial audit
Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
AA Degree and/ or 5 years of experience with High School diploma responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports
QuickBooks knowledge is required.
Competency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Friendly, positive attitude, typing and computer skills Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
Must be able to keep administrative matters strictly confidential
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills and attention to detail a must
