This is a 6+ month full time contract. This work can be done remotely. However, the Engineers will be required to come for a week of training to Los Angeles. All expenses will be paid for travel, lodging and meals.Must be able to commit to a minimum of 40-50 hours a week. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to ITAR requirements.

SQA Services is looking for a Electronics PPAP Engineer with 5+ years of experiencein integrated circuits and semiconductors.

Candidate should have experience with both standard and non-standard EEE parts. These components are passives, discrete and ICs. This person will be responsible for evaluating supplier submitted Level 3 PPAPs for effectiveness and completeness to meet client requirements as well as the AEC requirements for reliability testing and failure mechanisms for EEE parts. Experience with passive devices desired.

The Engineers are justifying findings on the reviewed PPAPs, justifying gaps and looking at the overall risk of the component. They are evaluating if it is a concern and if so they will highlight this and remediate. They are using destructive physical analysis (DPA) and construction analysis (CA).

Must have experience with integrated circuits, semiconductors, reliability testing, failure analysis and failure mechanisms. Must have experience with PPAPs (FMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Cpks, etc.).

Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering or higher is required. Experience with automotive AEC-Q100 / JEDEC reliability qualifications, failure mechanisms and test methods is desired. Should understand product development, pre-production activity, and product life cycle. Must have experience with device qualification and test methods.
