Oversee all Quality Systems programs and lab functions at the Moody manufacturing facility, including manufacturing and warehousing. Documents and implements all regulatory and SQF Systems at the Moody manufacturing location. Works with production to ensure top quality of all products and minimize complaints on coffee and tea retail products. Maintains all documentation necessary for regulatory audits, employee training, and product specifications in all aspects of food safety. Assists VP Quality Assurance as needed. Oversee all quality systems programs and lab functions at the Moody manufacturing facility including warehousing to make sure that the products produced are all done so under all regulatory guidelines and that all product testing is done under proper supervision and standards. Document and implement all Regulatory and SQF programs at the Moody manufacturing location including but not limited to writing specifications, conducting audits, holding employee meetings, record retention, and keeping upper management informed regarding all Regulatory and SQF issues. Assists marketing, sales, and VP Quality in formulating and/or improving current and future Red Diamond products. Keeps abreast of all regulatory information regarding labeling of Red Diamond Products.
Licenses or Certifications Required: Must be Preventive Controls Qualified Individual certified (PCQI).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Demonstrated success of implementation of SQF program
Strong knowledge of all levels of regulatory requirements including federal, state, and local.

Proficient skills with computers and job-related software including Microsoft Office products
Ability to multi-task and function in high stress situations
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related field plus at least 3 years job-related experience. Must have supervisory experience in lab and be able to demonstrate successful implementation of SQF. High speed manufacturing experience is helpful as well as experience in overall quality systems work at a plant level. Knowledge of food safety, industry food safety standards, and regulatory standards are a must.
