Proficient computer skills working with various office equipment, computers and various programs including databases, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
QuickBooks experience is a plus

To be successful in our Accounts Payable Associate role, you will be an engaging, high-performer who provides continued accounts payable support to multiple clients, ensuring that their needs are met with a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:Within the first 30 days:
Has been assigned client portfolio and has been informed of deliverables, timelines, accounts, processes, procedures and client communication styles
Fully understands TAG’s seven step accounting process flow
Has begun client bill pays with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
Has begun monthly bank and credit card reconciliations by due date

Within the first 60 days and ongoing:
Consistently manages client bill pays with minimal assistance and no errors
Produces monthly reports and assists with month-end close + reporting
Works efficiently, with a minimum of 80% of time is billable hours weekly

Within the first 90 days and going forward:
Maintains and processes vendor accounts
Comes to staff meetings prepared to share details on volume of client workload in an effort to assist team members or ask for assistance, depending on workload
Works efficiently, with a minimum of 85% of time is billable hours weekly

Within the first 6 months and going forward:
Maintains 8-15 client bills/invoices, with a minimum of 90% of time is billable hours weekly (~36 hours)
Completes monthly bank and credit reconciliations by due date with 100% accuracy
Continues creating, adjusting and entering journal entries with 100% accuracy

Within the first 12 months and going forward:
Possibly as soon as 9-month mark, works closely with new A/P Associates to mentor and delegate tasks
Continues to complete monthly bank and credit reconciliations by due date with 100% accuracy
Continues to produce monthly reports and assist with month-end closing
Has contributed to bringing new ideas to the table that add value to the organization with process, quality, project management, etc.
