Real Estate Closing Coordinator/Administrator - The David Banks Team at RE/MAX By The Bay | Portland, Maine
Position Overview: This position is an administrator to the brokerage team at RE/MAX By The Bay. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong computer skills, be strongly task oriented, and have outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities. Excellent social & interpersonal skills plus overall professionalism are essential. The position is responsible for the coordination of the property sales from the time that transactions go under contract until closing. Including but not limited to following critical dates and coordinating closings with each of the involved parties. The position assists the team’s licensees with daily tasks related to client services. This position is expected to work 40 hours/week from 8:00-5:00 PM Mon-Friday.
Essential Job Functions:
- Input, maintain, and service listings from under contract to close.
- Create critical dates memo, communicate dates to all parties and follow the dates on the contract
- Balance priorities and timelines so that each listing is closed out punctually and within contract timeframes
- Create documents and check for thorough completion of disclosures, contracts, agreements, etc.
- Research in town/city websites, zoning ordinances, registry of deeds, and other relevant databases
- Answer incoming inquiries in a professional and engaging manner
- Assist licensees with daily tasks
- Flexibility to cover other administrators responsibilities when absent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
