High growth public medical technology company seeks an experienced, energetic individual that will be responsible for tax related accounting and compliance responsibilities of the company. This position will report directly to the Tax Director and requires an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, analytical skills and strong communication skills are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare annual federal, state, and local income tax filings, quarterly payments and extensions.
Support outside consultants with S&U, property tax, and VAT compliance.
Obtain and maintain sale tax exemption forms.
Respond to state and local notices.
Maintenance of a tax calendar for all compliance due dates.
Prepare and maintain JE’s and account reconciliations for applicable tax accounts.
Ensure annual business licenses are filed appropriately and timely.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Assist with federal, state, and local audits as they arise.
Assist with special projects as requested by management.
Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role. lc
Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
2-5 years of tax accounting experience.
Well organized, detail oriented and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment.
Strong functional knowledge of MS Excel.
Knowledge of OTP and OIT a plus.
International tax background a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work in fast paced environment. Multi-tasking abilities required for successful job completion.
CPA a plus.
