What you would do in this role:
Develop deep knowledge of PowerDMS’ products, services, and business models
Review, draft, negotiate and enforce a wide range of commercial contracts with customers, vendors, service providers, licensing partners, and other third parties
Develop, implement and manage policies and processes relating to Company contracts
Support other general corporate matters and special projects from time to time
Provide sound and practical legal advice as a key member of the PowerDMS team
Providing advice and guidance regarding statutory, regulatory and legal changes impacting the Company's business operations.

What you need to know/have for this role:
4+ years of experience, either in an in-house role or at a top law firm, negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements, with experience in either software/IT or government contracting a plus
Excellent customer contract negotiation skills with a keen ability to speed up our contracting process
Experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, such as licensing and distribution agreements, software licensing (inbound, outbound, OEM), professional services, product development, content/data, marketing agreements and other contractual agreements
Member in good standing of the Florida State Bar Association required
Positive attitude with reflection of PowerDMS values
Strong attention to detail
Ability to serve as both a legal and business partner to internal teams and to be a team player who understands, appreciates and is committed to the overall success of the organization

Physical/Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
