Full Job Description
Intel's Assembly and Test Technology Development seeks a student intern to work full-time in Phoenix, AZ during the summer 2021.
The intern will work independently and/or as part of a small team of engineers and researchers scientists on concepts and prototypes for the use of IoT devices within Intel's packaging plants.
This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.
This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Candidate must have completed at least one-year college-level coursework in computer science or another related technical discipline and needs to have a desire and interest in sensor devices and IoT.
Demonstrated experience of applying computer science concepts and related skills to practical applications (e.g. IC design, robotics related projects, maker projects).
Experience with programming skills in at least one relevant development stack (e.g. R, Python, C#, C++) with 3+ months experience or relevant project work (academia or industry).
Familiarity with popular IoT hardware platforms including ESP32 and Arduino.
Understanding of data structures, database design, REST APIs and WiFi networking.
Actual IoT related academic course work or experience from prior internships or class projects.
