General Duties
- Providing continuous access control and metal detector operations for employees as needed through various shift changes.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing Deliveries including large freight as well as general parcel and post.
- Providing access control for the shipping and receiving yard.
- Monitoring of CCTV assets for environmental and situational awareness.
- Performing regular foot patrols on both the interior and exterior.
- Responding to incidents and security challenges as needed.
- Relaying important information to Emergency Services such as Sheriff, Fire, Medical personnel.
- Identifying and reporting exterior safety concerns such as snow, ice and flooding in the parking areas. Ensuring that active steps for mitigation have occurred.
- Working closely with Management and Supervisors to ensure a Culture of Compliance and Safety.
- Assisting Management in performing investigations as needed related to any incident that may occur including theft, intoxicated persons, contraband as well as other violations of policy and conduct.
- Assisting with regularly scheduled compliance audits.
- Assisting and implementing required drills for fire and evacuation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
