Delaware Hospice is actively a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to work in our beautiful Inpatient Center in Milford, DE. The schedule is a mix of 7-3pm and 3-11pm shifts. There is an every other weekend requirement which is the 7am-3pm shift. In the 10 shifts worked in a 2 weeks period, (7) are 7-3pm and (3) are 3-11pm.

Our CNAs are an integral part of Delaware Hospice's mission and interdisciplinary team. The CNA Serves as a member of the Inpatient Center Hospice team by providing personal care services for patients.
QUALIFICATIONS: Two years experience in hospital, extended care facility, home care or hospice preferred. Nursing students, completing one academic year inclusive of direct patient care, will be considered if certification requirements are fulfilled. Certification within the State of Delaware as a Nurse Aide or completion of a 75 hour training course and required competency testing. Demonstrated maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job. Must complete 12 hours of mandatory education a year. Must be able Just be able to lift and turn patients as needed in the normal course of patient care, following industry standards and guidelines for safety and correct ergonomic practices. Employees involved in patient care may be exposed to blood, body tissue and fluids regularly and are expected to follow all health care industry safety guidelines indicated in our procedure manual.
