We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a customer-oriented, energetic, results-driven, and professional Sales Consultant (New & Pre-Owned Certified) at our Grubbs Volvo Houston. This position is responsible for ensuring an extraordinary client experience while creating a long-lasting relationship. This position will assist clients from the beginning to the end of purchasing and owning New & Pre-Owned Vehicles. The Sales Consultant is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features, functions, and financing options for new and pre-owned vehicle inventories.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of sales experience is required, automotive experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Preferred
- Must be a self-starter and proactive
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Proficient in computer technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new and current clients.
- Follow up with clients and respond to new inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Develops buyers by building a strong rapport with customers and working to achieve a long-lasting relationship.
- Qualifies buyers by understanding buyers' requirements and interests; Suggests and matches interests to various models.
- Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating prices; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collecting payment; and delivering automobiles.
- Work in partnership with the F&I Team to resolve any outstanding contracts or incomplete deals.
- Ability to meet, maintain, and/or exceed sales goals monthly.
- Provide sales management analysis by completing reports.
- Have continuous knowledge of products and market trends.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
