Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supplier management & negotiation of IT commodities , including IT Marketing & Sales projects . This role will work with different regional resources and hierarchical levels of Kimberly Clark.

Scope :
The candidate will report to the Global IT Procurement Leader within Procurement and is responsible for managing assigned commodities, suppliers, and purchases to meet customer needs.
Utilizing a structured sourcing process you will handle category sourcing and contract negotiations. In other cases, you will dissect the requirements communicated by the business and express the elements in familiar “category” terms so we can benefit from the value available in a competitive marketplace.
Broadly, this role will have vast interaction with Regional teams and multi-functional stakeholders in KC.

Responsibilities :
The new Global Procurement Organization is driving a transformation agenda, moving for more strategic and global approach, enabling simplification and standardization of procurement category and process, having a collaborative mindset.

This position has to demonstrate:
Fully knowledgeable in their commodity or service. Develops robust strategies based on this knowledge.
Serve as a thought leader to the IT Procurement Team, IT Stakeholders, and rest of the organization for the strategic sourcing of the categories.
Knowledge of IT categories, procurement best practices and market trends.
Demonstration of continuous learning.
Procure assigned goods and services which provide the best overall value to KC.
Develop pricing agreements and systems contracts with suppliers.
Work in conjunction with business units and suppliers to identify new materials to be strategically sourced.
Ensure IT Procurement Team has high engagement with stakeholders and lead formal alignment meetings with stakeholders.
Communication of category strategy and status to senior management to ensure alignment.
Manage through a commodity, service or crisis.
Knowledgeable in the navigation of a complex matrixed organization.

5+ years of experience is required in Procurement and ITS categories.
Bachelor's degree in business, economics or related discipline.
Continued updating and/or progress toward advanced degree or equivalent in area of technical expertise is preferred.
Operates with limited business direction.
Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in a major purchasing commodity group.
Core competencies evident to drive a digital mindset: adaptability, business acumen, collaboration / teamwork, innovative thought process, openness to learning and listening, results oriented, digital literacy, global mindset, conceptual thinking, decisiveness, accountability, and risk taking.
Must be a skilled negotiator and have the ability to work across Global regions.
